The tiramisu cake from kopiandwhisk is definitely a 5/5 without hesitation. The layered sponge cake soaked with the roasted coffee aroma is so moist while the mascarpone is so creamy but so lightweight that i could finish one whole slice by my own in one sitting. With the bitter cocoa powder sprinkled on top of the tiramisu cake generously as a final touch, which provides a balanced contrast to the sweet cream but not too sweet, perfect for my liking. Love the owner being so attentive, providing spoon for takeaway. Even though it’s simple but it’s this little gesture that wins the heart. Will definitely come back for more !
Kopi and Whisk is such a nice, cozy spot with great food and drinks. -Dubai Chocolate Cake: Rich and moist with a nice chocolatey flavor. The topping was a fun touch. -Smoked Duck Aglio Olio: Full of flavor, with smoky duck slices and fresh cherry tomatoes. -Matcha Strawberry Cake: Light and fluffy with just the right mix of matcha and strawberry cream. -Creamy Mushroom Pasta: Rich and creamy, loaded with mushrooms—simple and delicious. -Matcha Strawberry Latte: A tasty combo of matcha and sweet strawberry. -Iced Latte: Smooth, creamy, and goes perfectly with the desserts. The vibe is super chill, the food is awesome, the staff are friendly, and we’ll definitely be back!
A cafe that I visit almost every week! Discovered the cafe in December 2024 and ever since then, it became my go-to cafe for coffee, matcha, and cakes. They have THE BEST banana matcha in miri, especially because they make an actual banana puree instead of using banana milk. Their cakes are to die for (my personal favourite is their Pistachio Strawberry Cake). They make really good coffee as well and the environment of the cafe is cosy and quiet. As for the food, I’ve only had their Japanese Curry Rice and I can say it was really good that it reminded me of the one I had in a previous travel trip! Staff are also super friendly! The first time I ordered their banana matcha, they gave me tips on how to enjoy the drink (stirring instead of letting it sit). Genuinely one of the best matcha spots in Miri in my opinion, and plus points for being in my area! Highly recommended for those who love cafe hopping
Ordered a cake for a birthday celebration, it was a black sesame chiffon with blueberry cream. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! Also tried a slice of their pistachio burnt cheesecake and that was so tasty too! And believe me, I tried A LOT or burnt cheese cakes and this was seriously good. My mum tried the Japanese Curry Rice and pop corn chicken previously too, and she said it is also good. :) Wonderful service and the place is clean and tidy. Keep it up and God bless you all!
A comfy little cafe on the outskirts of town. Well lit with plenty of seatings. Very family friendly. There are a variety of cakes to choose from. They also use chiffon cake as the base so it is soft and fluffy with every bite and doesn’t taste dry. Their tiramisu is also one of the best that I’ve ever had. They do serve hot meals for dine in and they also sell whole cakes for birthdays. Matcha with banana is a surprisingly tasty combo. The matcha has a creamy, nutty profile with a good hint of bitterness and doesn’t taste diluted. Overall a 10 out of 10. Will definitely be coming back for more.
Recommended by my friend and Im here to try out their Tiramisu (which only available on weekend). Got disappointed of the Tiramisu, underwhelming. Matcha latte and the latte we ordered are not impressive also. Overall an average cafe who provides more cake options.
Love their tiramisu and matcha!! Very cozy place to relax and spend time. The stuffs are super friendly and I feel welcome.
Lovely cafe in the Permy area! The food however needs some improvements. The banana cake was a bit oily and the matcha latte tasted a bit flat. Milk was a bit cold and the matcha tasted very bitter. The latte art was extremely cute though so that was a huge plus! They also have plenty of other cakes available and pasta for those looking for heavier meals.
